We had a great short week! Miss Douglas' official last day with us was on Monday. We will miss her greatly, but fortunately she will still be at Walhalla El. next semester. She will be in Mrs. Gardner's second grade class to student teach. Miss Douglas is an excellent teacher and we hope she will visit us often! On Monday two baseball players from Clemson read some books to us. Then, for snack, Miss Douglas had a special suprise planned for us. What a great day!
On Tuesday, Miss Douglas came back to participate in the Thanksgiving Feast. Before we ate, we rotated classes. Each kindergarten teacher did an activity with each class. Mrs. Bibb had the classes decorate tableclothes with things they are thankful for. Mrs. Morgan make teepees with the classes while Mrs. Phillips taught the kids how to make homemade butter. I was able to teach the kids how to play The Pin Game and then they each got to make their own version to take home. Then it was on to the feast!
